We created this page to provide clear, helpful information for both new and returning families as they navigate our program. Throughout the season, we receive many great questions about teams, levels of play, leagues, registration, tuition, and what to expect during the year.

To make things easier for everyone, we’ve gathered the most common questions and answers in one place. Our goal is to provide transparency, reduce confusion, and ensure families have the information they need as they prepare for the upcoming season.

REGISTRATION & ROSTERING FAQs

How do I register my player for evaluations or tryouts?

Will families receive information prior to evaluations and tryouts?

When will my player find out what team they made?

10U-12U Rosters will be announced within a week after the final evaluation.

For the 14U–18U levels, player offers may be extended as early as the first night of tryouts, with remaining contracts offered to players within up to three days following the final tryout. Players have 24 hours to accept their roster spot, or the position may be offered to another player. A deposit is required to confirm placement on the team.

What extra items do players/families typically pay for?

In addition to tuition, families should anticipate the cost of uniforms, equipment, and occasional team-based expenses. These may include tournament fees, hotels, team meals/activities, optional apparel, scorekeepers, end-of-season gifts for coaches, managers, and volunteers, approved individual team fundraisers, non-parent coach hotel accommodations and/or meals, and special team initiatives (e.g., Hockey Fights Cancer).

LEAGUE AND SEASON INFORMATION

What league do the Quakers participate in?

The Quakers are proud members of the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL), which serves as our primary league for regular season play.

Some teams may also participate in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League (EJEPL). This is an additional league with fees paid per player.

Non league Games and Tournaments are scheduled by each individual team (Coach and Manager), not the organization.

When Does The Season Start?

When Does The Season End?

The regular season concludes at various times in late January or early February, with league playoffs typically beginning immediately afterward. Depending on age and level, teams may advance to Affiliate Championships or District Playoffs.

District Playoffs offer national-bound teams (14U AA, 16U AA, and 18U AA) the opportunity to advance to USA Hockey Nationals by winning their district championship.
